Good day, I would appreciate your views on the following.

I have a 2016 S212 E350 which I have had from new, around 6 months or so ago I noticed the offside was up or the near side down on rear suspension, I mentioned this when it went in for a service but by that time the car had corrected itself, the dealership asked me to keep an eye on things and bring back if problem arose again.

I noticed it a couple more times but the car did correct itself.

yesterday I noticed it again when it was parked on a car park which had a slope to it.

on returning home I measured the distance from the drive to the top of the rear arch,
The drivers side was 26 1/2inch floor to arch and near side was 26 1/4 inch to arch, tyre pressure is correct.

is there an allowable tolerance for the rear air suspension or should it be spot on?

appreciate any advice from members of forum.

I don't know that answer to your question... but I would ask the dealer to put the car on STAR and scan for any fault codes (stored or present) that may relate to the suspension.

Thanks markjay I was not sure if codes would be stored for this but your reply helps.

The car will try and level itself when parked on uneven/sloping ground...

Not for surely-mechanical stuff, obviously, but anything with electronic brain and sensors should register on STAR.

Thanks to those that replied, I did contact the dealership and the lady I spoke to had a word with workshop manager who apparently did not think the small amount of difference in heights would register on STAR.

I was advised to keep an eye on it and recontact should the issue not rectify itself or gets worse.

I have Mercedes extended warranty so maybe this would be covered if anything does need fixing.
