Ace cafe mercedes meet 23/5/2012

Ironically I'm in West London tonight in the SL, but not 100% sure I'll be able to make it at a reasonable hour as I'm picking up some parts from Heathrow. Very much depends on timings.

From Heathrow Ace is a Doodle! of a drive. Of course you'll make it!!

I think I might try and make this for a bit. Can't stay too long as I have to dial into a 10PM teleconference though :(

Can be done via a mobile device surely? Even better in the surroundings in a 124 or a r129?

If I can make it, be on the lookout for a large confused looking gentleman in an AMG-kitted 129.

Lovin' the F S and W T F number plates. W T F standing for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday of course.

Didn't make it in the end, in between getting cooked fighting through the traffic and then bumping into an old friend on Ashford high street. Sounds like it was a good one though.

Superb Meet!!!!! Fabulous cars, Passionate owners, Incredible weather!!

Brabus SL,the brabus CLK and Raw C43

Watch the post, you'll be getting complaints from the council about excessive noise!

Thanks for last night ripping up the tarmac that was awsome.

Brabus SL, by the time you even got to throttle it, you already ran out of road! But what a sound your motor produces.

There was also a C43 at the end who did a massive burn out. not sure if anyone caught that? he'll be off for some 255/35's today.

Great meet last night.....good to finally meet BillyW124 and Dash (d w124), and great to hook up with some of the usual suspects!

Great meet, great weather... Was taken by suprise with the turnout. Brilliant variety of cars, from old to new, standard to mildly modded onto the extreme... Nice to meet everyone, hope something can be sorted again soon...

My only gripe, it was so packed, my car didn't even get in!...

Nice to meet you last night Billy, and thanks again for all the tips regarding my tempomat installation. :thumb:

Sorry I arrived late and missed some of the cars/forum members, still saw some beauties though.

I especially loved the drop-head W111:cool:, my sort of car.

I also really enjoyed the “Street show” put on by the two Brabus’ (not sure where the comma should be there?) and the silver C43 that disappeared in a cloud of tyre smoke:eek: (hope someone managed to capture that on film) before shooting off down the street.

Epic stuff, loved it, Thanks.:thumb:

Regards, R.

I hadn't seen this thread here before, which is a pity as there were a number going I'd have liked to say hello to. SAVMAN, was that your S211  backed up the building? I heard lots about it!

As said by others, it was a great turnout and a great evening. Thanks to the guys that left either about a grand's worth of rubber on the tarmac or an amazing soundtrack or both! Thanks also to all at the Ace!

I was there but only managed to find Billy and DW124.

Next time I will wear my MBClub shirt. :)

Yes it was.
Spent a great evening got so carried away I thought I was still at the PCS GTG with the familiar faces so ordered a drink and promptly walked away hastily followed by bar staff explaining you had to pay for the drinks :dk:
