car seems to be stuffy with more than 2 occupants! l checked dust filter and not to bad - hooverd it and will buy new one at weekend. russian site says there is pair of activated carbon filters , just like my old w210. i removed the panel under passenger footwell ( as per w210) but cant see them??Anyone know where they are - assuming i have them , which i guess i must !

Hi Fred,, just looked at the service info and it appears that these are not a service issue, and there is nothing on removing them shown, only the charcoal filter motors.

Unless some one else knows better

Same thing Malcolm. Charcol / carbon :)

Strange really because they will loose their "activity" eventually. i.e. they cannot continue absorbing NO2 and CO indefinately.
