I think i have an issue with the active park assist on my 2017 C300H.

When passing a suitable space on the passenger side I get the option to use the active park assist and it works fine.

However if the space is on the drivers side I get no option to use it.

Is this a fault or am I not doing something right?

For the right hand side I believe you have to be indicating right before you approach the space. That’s how it works on both cars we own.

isn't that how it explains it in the manual?

Aren't we supposed to be indicating anyway ;) just to let other drivers know what we are doing.....?

It does differ - my wife's needs the indicator - mine doesn't however I wish they'd make the indicator a requirement for all models on both sides......

Thanks for the replies.

Will RTFM and try the indicator option as well.

Ok, having done some testing today it seems I do need the indicator on for the drivers side.

However it is not as responsive as the passenger side nor as accurate.
