Active Park Assist?

Hi guys

anyone know how to work the active park assist on a w246?

I've read the manual and I can't fathom how to work it. I get the P sign in the instrument cluster but no matter what I press or even put it in reverse it doesn't seem to proceed.

On a side note - when you connect an iphone in the telephone screen in the main dash there is a SMS option - when I select it it says no new text messages even when I have new messages. Anyone know how to make this work?

worked out how to use the active park assist - need to have the P sign and the arrow!

anyone have any ideas with regards to the text messages?
