AdBlue - Does it reduce DPF issues ?
Also is there a gauge to tell you how much you have put in or is it just fill until it overflows ? lol

No and dosing is automatic provided there's fluid in the reservoir. As you can see from the simplified diagram the adblue catalyst comes after the DPF so will not prevent clogging with particulates- the earlier EGR [ EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION SYSTEM] may have a greater effect.
