I got the AdBlue Warning this morning on my way to work:

"Adblue Top up Adblue, see Owners Handbook"

My handbook is at home, :doh:does anyone know the leeway/mileage/Ltrs left? As in do I need to fill it up before going home (50 odd Miles):dk:

Certainly more than 50 miles, possibly nearer 1000, but I wouldn't bank on that! It will keep running, even if the tank is empty, just won't restart if you stop it.

It gives progressive warnings before not letting you drive. Supposed to be 1000 miles but you can get adblue at Halfords, She’ll Garage’s, pretty much anywhere. It should tell you the range if you look in the service menu. Bottom one when you press the home button. There is a sub menu adblue that gives range

Halfords seem to have become sensible with their pricing now. Most of the Megs detailing products etc are the same price as amazon/eBay

Good call, filling up with 1,2 or 3 litres after the warning is not enough to allow the engine to start again.

Pussled regarding your statement, I bought 10 Ltrs but only put in around 4 Ltrs as I have a BO Servicing in 2000 miles!

You've been lucky, it tells you in the handbook that just adding a few litres will not allow the engine to start. Maybe the warning will come back pretty quick?

I didn't have the Engines no Start Warning only the add AdBlue, and no warnings since the system measured and showed the new level! Hand Book hints that the warning is set at around 3 Ltrs, so I now have approx 7 Ltrs, I will keep an eye on it!

Just be careful not to spill any.
That stuff make a horrible mess if spilled as it chrystalises.

My Main Dealer managed to spill it all over the lower boot trim on my CLS.

Jeez! Unlucky! Did they clean it up ok or has it left a 'stain' on the boot trim?

The dealer wanted me to take the car in for valeting but I didn’t trust them so I removed the trim and washed it myself.

Bad marks to the dealer, if you pardon the pun.
