It can be added to almost any car ever made

For the pre-facelift W202 it requires a few modules and some heavy retro-fitting but for the facelift W202 it is an additional stalk, some mods (or replacement) to the steering column cowling and a software change.

I looked at this for another forum member a good few months ago now, the conclusion i came to was if the car had ESP it was exactly as you say, but "i believe" some facelift 202's did,nt have this and the fitting of cruise control was decidedly more involved.
If this is wrong i,m willing to be corrected, as the EPC was unclear (either that or my inexperience in driving it).

I have a few spare switch packs with the stalk on if you want one.

Come with speed limiter aswell as cruise control.

They are from a W211 or R171 so may not fit but you are welcome to try one.

Rather than ESP I would imagine it's ASR as GrahamC230k's facelift W202 didn't have ESP but the retrofitted stalk worked fine.

Any idea if they would fit a 300G? I think a lot of the 300G kit came from the 124.

I imagine your 300G will need a complete retrofit kit.

I would imagine that the cars they would fit would need to be CANBUS based myself but you are welcome to try.

It is a steering wheel off and VERY careful dismantle of the whole boss/switch pack type job. So if you try you will need to be careful.

It might just be a good idea to try the lever as shude says. On earlier cars thats all it might need.

CC is something I have only ever used a couple of times. I wouldnt bother if it was me.

But some people love it.

Cruise Control is made for 50mph roadworks with SPECS..

Speed Limiter is very useful in a car that will sprint from over 69mph to... very over 69mph without any fuss whatsoever.

Still looking at how to get this working on my car I've got the software upgrade and the stalk attached. Can anyone help shed some light on where the connector from the stalk plugs into, what other parts (if any) are needed or if it's a wire-crimping job please?!
