Adjusting adaptive bi xenon headlights upwards

Any tips on doing this? They used to be very good, but were turned down for the MOT and I haven’t done much night driving since. There is what looks like a white adjuster behind the main xenon bulb.

On my E class for the Bi-xenon bulbs there is a level sensor in the front right wheel well near the spring and one above the rear diff . They can rust and break .
The mot garage then manually lower the beam pattern , but that doesn’t fix the underlying level sensor issue
