Me neither at first thought Id made the wrong decision but they growing on me. When its parked next to golf which has similar wheels it looks awesome

They are the widest you can go on those rims anymore and they would stick out of the arches

Thats what it came with when I bought it and I binned them as I really dont like them and even worse SWMBO hates them.

Oh god?!? You ruined it!!! Lol each to their own. The wheels you have I had ordered on a failed C250 PP so I do like them for what it's worth.

I just think wheels from the same period usually look better..

I know exactly what you mean and ideally I would have just replaced the Monobloc VI but I couldn't find a set at a sensible price all that were available were more than the car is worth. The wheels are still growing on me and I might yet change to something more period if I see something that catches my eye. Some of the Monobloc wheels are now in real short supply particularly the early ones and as they are period they are not favoured by the replica manufacturers who prefer to reproduce the newer wheels. Looks like I might be heading to a Winter set and Summer set lol

Looks very nice to me. But seems to look like the tyres on my push bike are wider !! I just dis-like the way tyres seem to be, err, bulging inwards LOL

It must be the photo because they dont bulge inwards, there is an outer anti kerbing ring on the tyre which might be throwing the perspective rears are 255 and fronts 225 which is the recommended set up for staggered 18's

For what it's worth, they look gerat to me...

The black painted bits will take constant attention to keep them looking shiny though....silver would have been easier to keep clean, but I don't think it would have looked as good...
