Advice on C320 diesel

Not for me but for my boss. He was looking for a BMW but has found a C320 Avantgarde Diesel,2006 plate,60,000,one owner,Mercedes service history,£11,000.Is the price ok,any major issues to look out for with this model?

I bought a C320 CDI Avantgarde with Sport Pack about 6 months ago. It's a beaut of a car. As Gr8nt says, for a performance diesel, they are reasonably frugal. It puts a smile on my face every time I press the loud pedal.

Not sure how the price compares or stacks up - October 2008 I bought my July 2001 C270Cdi elegance estate, 67k miles, full MBSH (had just had a "B" service, £400++), one owner, full blown 12 month warranty, £5995.

OK, it predates galvanising and nano paint and fixing the Valeo radaitor problem, the upside is that Assyst calls for service at 15k miles / 2 years rather than 15k miles / 1 year!!

The 270 is surprisingly quick, so the 320 must be a blast. However, I wonder how close you'll get to my average 45mpg mixed driving. I also contemplated an AG - but finally decided there were just too many toys to go wrong and cost money to fix. Our Elegance trim has enough toys for us.
