Advice on wireless router for talk talk b/band

Hi guys

just got talk talk b/band and need a wireless router for wireless broadband at home and preferably wireless connection of existing printer with mine and wife's laptops.

any recommendations for what to buy? - I'm pretty clueless when it comes to IT.

Those are two different problems. The router enables you to set up a wireless network but you also want to create a network printer.

I have a Linksys home gateway (Model No WAG354G). This acts as both the ADSL modem and a router. You can direct connect 4 PCs and also have wireless connections with up to 32 devices.

If you have a desktop then you can have that connected directly to the router and the printer connected to the desktop. Then by making the printer a shared device you can print from any of the PCs on your "network". That's how my system works.

Alternately, you'll need a wireless network card for the printer (assuming your printer can take one) and set up is a bit more complicated (using the analagy that a difficult question is one to which you don't know the answer).
