Hi. I'm after some help or advice on a problem with the turbo on my 3.0 Vito engine. The van went in to a workshop a while back for a mild remap and to delete the egr. I just wanted to get few more mpg out of the thing and if that came with a few more ponies then fair enough. After two failed attempt to get it right the third attempt seemed more successful. However on the road test the turbo developed a problem. It seems the actuator failed. The garage removed the turbo and the vanes were stuck solid. A recon turbo has now been fitted. It now over boosts. The garage reckon the stock map should put out 1.2 bar. The remap should have taken it to 1.4. It is making around 2 bar before the electronics object and put it in to limp mode. They have put the original stock map back on and it will take more effort to get it in to limp mode but it will still do it. It still makes 2.0 bar but just takes a little longer to get there.
