Advice...

[CLK 6380]

Hi guys,

Would just like a little bit of advice. I have a budget of about £1000 (give or take a couple of hundred) and need to get some nice alloys.

Should i get an affordable set of 18" or push it a bit and get some 19"s?

I know your probably thinking, why ask us? But the reason i am asking is that, how much extra will it cost for me to fit 19"s? I have a 2001 CLK (W208). Is the ride better on 18"s or 19"S. Im really swaying towards the 18"s so if someone could dissuade me from getting the 19"s that would be great! At the same time some advantages of 18"s over 19"s would be great too!

What model is your CLK ? if its not had the AMG shell mods then it will be difficult to fit the 19's without arch modification. CLK 430's that came with AMG wheels can accept 19's ok, but you will need to roll the arches on a non modded car.....

you are looking for option 774 on your data sheet. this will tell you if you have the nessecary mods for the 19's
