advise please

help please.
i have had my car parked up for around 4 month and i went to fetch it down to my home today,the battery light is staying on now but didnt used to and its got a slight miss which it didnt have,is there a fuse for the alternator or could it just be the damp has got in to it? it was booked in for its pre mot tomorrow but cant take it like this,

Give the battery a full charge as these cars are very sensitive to low battery power. Once charged a good drive should help.

thank you for your reply,i will charge the battery tonight and take her for a run tomorrow

alternator all sorted.took cables off it and cleaned all connections up and works a treat now
