After a 4 month wait it's finally ready

It is the BiTurbo, hoping it goes as well as I am expecting, I've not seen an E63 estate in the flesh or driven on come to that matter!!

Wow - that's some blind outlay - I'm sure you'll love it :thumb:

My missus was not impressed when I ordered the car without looking at one, but they let me have an E350 estate for the weekend so I figured that that was quick so I shouldn't be disappointed with the E63. I suppose I will find out tomorrow!! :bannana:

I think you will be unique on the forum - I don't recall many (if any) threads or photos of E63's whether W211 or W212.

As a long term E Estate owner I'm looking forward to it :thumb:.

Great choice of car. AMG's in estate form are even better in my view. Well done...

That has made me laugh out loud - absolute quality! :thumb:

He's is still out there somewhere, discovering exactly how much faster than a 350 it actually is! :D

See where you coming from. Never to be seen again... :-)

Silly question but does it live up to expectations?

Does it live up to expectations... OH YES :D

I am currently keeping below 3,000 RPM as suggested by MB but god it is quick, don't think I will ever dare take it over 3,000 RPM!!

The car is amazing, I have been doing a bit of traveling to and from the hospital the last couple of days using a busy A road and keeping with the flow of traffic the computer says on the last 22 mile trip the average was 29.1 MPG which I am amazed at.

Although I have to be careful, I had four cars in front of me today with large gaps between so I thought I would take two then the other two down the next straight, I blipped the go pedal and before I had a chance to think about puling back in I was passed all four and had enough road to take even more!!! Very scary!!

I will stop rambling now.

Matt

Not sure if I should tint the rear windows, I didn't go for the factory tint as I don't always like the rear windows really black and then the front window clear, at the minute I don't think it needs it, what do you guys think?

That's a beauty, love the steering wheel

That's the same steering wheel as I have in my E220 cdi and there in lies the problem I have with the C and E 63's. They don't look different enough from a base sport model. I accept that they have fantastic engines and handling, but for me, I would like it to look a bit more special.

Nice car and I hope you enjoy driving it.

Leave it as it is.
