Hello! I'm going to change the head gasket. Is there any one here that performe tha change? And the car is going to be reliabel? On the firts Km can I drive normally?

its easy enough to do and yes you can drive it normally afterwards

but what is the reason you are changing the gasket?

Would help to know where you live? It will cost £600-800 for a proper job with a head skim etc.

edit:- are you the owner with the LPG CONVERSION? One thing that might be worth checking is that the gas vapouriser hasn't sprung a leak allowing coolant and gas to mix? I don't know how likely this is but any LPG specialist should be able to tell you. Vaporisers are very liable to freeze in Winter cold weather in the UK

Mystery solved then.
2 cars---1 LPG-OK 2 COMPRESSOR with faulty CHG.

If you live in Portugal its unlikely ?? that anyone on a UK based forum could recommend a good engine shop in Portugal--but you never know. Hope you find a good garage to repair your car.:)

Great write up

This is a stonkingly good write up with pictures and should be in the favorites section without a doubt.:bannana:
If anyone on the forum has a 230 compressor engine print this out or save it while its still here.

Bazzle I suggest you post your link there also.
