Guys,

After some rather intense, maybe too intense, cleaning of my car today I have rubbed off some coating from the lid of the glovebox and piece of trim next to it. Please see attached picture.

I was after some help finding the part numbers and possible prices of these if anyone happens to know them. I am not much use at using the old Russian site, I have tried!!

Any help anyone can offer would be great!

Cheers in advance,

Terry

Thanks, How expensive do you think?

Also, I was only wiping it down with a damp cloth, not hard. Do you think MB may look at this under warranty? As surley this should not happen?

Interior trim is usually expensive for what it is and difficult to replace properly unless you know what you are doing. I think your MB dealer would put this down to fair wear and tear but I guess you could ask them.

Expect to pay around £95 for a new glovebox lid and £45 for the adjacent trim piece (item 115 here).
