aftermarket air filter,, question,?

Nope but I've got a Carlsson one on order for mine.

i wouldnt touch that with a barge pole!

even good makes are known to be MAS killers so better off with your stndard filter!

uhmm , still looks like an oil based MAS killer to me!, carlsson probably get someone like K&N to make it for them!

sorry to spoil your fun there R2D2, ive been tempted in the past with the K&N as ALL my previous cars had K&N`s in them (other halfs mk1 golf still has!).

My car needs more air before looking at tuning it. My last car had better throttle response with a K and N but the MAS went after two years:( i guess I need a non oiled one. Any one any ideas?

I've had no probs with the Green Cotton ones.
Had them on 3 cars now and all been fine.:bannana:

Didn't think a w124 had a MAS ?

The w124 220 and 320 bosch HFI injection twin cam engines both have a MAS ---MAF whatever its called.

Me to.

Getting hold of the correct Green Cotton filters is another matter! GC are oiled as well - maybe not to the extent of K&N though...

Seems my Carlsson one has arrived in the country after about 4 weeks!!! Shall I????
