Hi

I want to put a double din pioneer DVD player in my W203 however I'm concerned that it will play around with the electrics, as these cars are so heavily dependent on electrics by installing a unit that's not oem would this cause me any problems? Would I have to get an adaptor for the steering wheel and if the headunit has bluetooth enabled for the phone could I tie this in with the control unit on the steering wheel??

Firstly what year is your car?

Secondly, do you have a particular unit in mind or a budget as such?

I have a pioneer unit in my 2006, I bought a MOST adapter that lets you use all the steering wheel buttons except the telephone ones.

my c270 cdi is 2003 and the pioneer avh-p4000dvd

Not after anything too high tech or flashy. Something simple with good sound quality

Going to change all the speakers to something more punchy and clear and add the pioneer 5.1 digital processor for that little extra

I'll have to get the brackets for the speakers too I believe as they're of an odd size inbetween 15.5 & 16?

Would the front tweeters in the door mirrors be changeable? They look really small

You can buy adapter brackets or make some MDF plates up to mount the speakers on - a better quality alternative and cheaper!

Most tweeters will fit under the standard cover.

I've bought the headunit and about to buy the steering wheel stalk control interface thingy but it states its only for cars above 2004 (facelift i presume) whereas mine is a 2003 car.

Helppp plz im so lazy
