Aftermarket HIDs

Anyone good with HID stuff? One of my headlights is much brighter than other one, can't see anything in dark. Got aftermarket HIDS, changed the bulbs still same, swapped over the ballasts and no luck so ballasts and bulbs are fine. Any ideas guys? Could it be the headlight itself? Doing my head in I can't see properly when driving at night time. (I got pics but not sure how to upload them on here from iPhone)

Is the bulb in the proper orientation? It's quite crucial.

As far as I understand there's only one position it can be fitted. Seems to be right thou

does it have a reflector of any kind?

Maybe a bit corroded?

Is the outer glass/perspex cover REALLY clean inside and out?

If you are using the forum app? Then on you iphone when you reply to post there is a + sign in top right corner. Hit that and follow the instructions.

Anything hosted on Photobucket gets blocked my most Company email systems, so a lot of Forum members won't see anything.

Anoyingly, the browser reformats the text, so I don't even get a clue there was a picture there in the first place.

Can be very confusing for someone of a certain age...

Looks fairly normal, the drivers side is dipped to prevent dazzling oncoming.

They look very blue though.

Drive up to a wall or garage door....about 2m away.

The cut-offs at the top of both beams should be roughly the same horizontally.... if they're not, there's your problem..

What colour temp does it say on the pack? 4300k is correct.

That's your problem...the higher the n umber the bluer the light and the lower the output. 4300k will fix things for you.

No mate, why the passengers side is nice and bright but other one is dimmer and can't see anything at all when's dark. Got same hids for 2 years in my BMW and no problems whatsoever and both beams are same
