aftermarket parking sensor probs from Pro Park UK

Hi everyone,
My w204 didn't come with parktronic so i got steelemate front + rear sensors fitted by Pro Park UK.
Next day noticed some issues:
1) the steering is making a squeaking/creaking noise when turning and feels a little stiffer. Almost as though the wiring loom for the front sensor switch is rubbing against the rack somewhere behind the dash.

2) the front senors make a high pitch squeal when the ignition goes from the 'on' position to ignition 'start'.
Seems like the senor unit gets a pump of extra voltage.

Contacted the fitter the next day and hes accepting no responsibility for this. Giving a host of excuses hes basically saying if he sees the car then hes going to charge.

I'm very unhappy with his service especially after paying £280 for this mess.

Any advice on the above issues please??

Try your bank, some debit cards offer protection, they may be able to offer a charge back facility.

If not then write to the company by recorded delivery outlining the problems, give them a reasonable time period to inspect the car and to make good. Record the date, time and person to whom you spoke in any calls and keep it on a calm and civil footing from you part.

If you still get nowhere then the small claims court is an option.
