Air Con /shocks

Any one got tips for removing the dashboard on my 1992 SEL 500 W140.
Was giving its annual top up of r134a and got called to phone, Bottle fell over and overcharged entire system with liquid and blew evaporator behind dash. Nasty! Does wheel and airbag have to come off?
The rear shocks rubbers are gone at the botton mounts of the self levelers. Can these be rebushed or its £500 quid each for new ones
Any advice please. Ta

I haven't worked on a 140 , but I'd find it hard to imagine taking the dash out without removing the wheel first - have done the job on W201 and W124 models before .

Take a look at the Russain Website which shows exploded diagams of the car - it may help , good luck .
