SLK350
I have a 2004 SLK 350 paddle shift car. The Air con has not been getting down to a decent temperature. It would be useless in the South of France!!
I had the system re-gassed today -670g of Refrigerant Replaced. No leaks found. BUT they said the AC fan is not operational. Does anyone have any good ideas on things to check? Or a good place to take it -I live in Cheltenham.
I regularly have to clear leaves out from the top end of the bonnet and above the battery. Is there another area I have been missing?

Thanks
Mike

Could be the cabin filter - replacement instructions here.....

Or just remove it to test.

Any photos of the Triton? :)

Ted,
Thanks for the link to that Cabin Filter. I will have a look when work is over. And I will also check the fuse.

Not sure how to post a Triton photo or if it would be welcome here-have owned it longer than I have owned the wife (>30 years). Wideline with T110 Alternator engine and Slickshift box. There you are -words paint a thousand pictures!!

Roadholders??
Tomaselli levers??

Had a slikshift box on my 59 Thunderbird - handy when the clutch cable broke :)

Edit: you can wash those filters if you are carefulm but they need to be fully dry when put back in as they will block the airflow if wet.
