Air con. Viano cdi 3.0 v6

Air con problems... Had new condenser and new compressor fitted still doesn't work.
Supplied direct out source power to the compressor and the air con worked.... The air con dash switch has been tested and us ok....

Can any one help?

Hi needs to be plugged in to star machine and check for any faults, are you sure the correct amount of aircon gas has been put in,

My bet is the pressure switch in the condenser, Mercedes sell hundreds.

Hi Andy

After the condenser was fitted I believe the gas was filled to the specified amounts shown on the air con label .... After reading a few issues others have had... Maybe disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU might work... I don't really know to much about it... thanks for your message and I will find someone with a star machine ....

Suggestions are pressure switch... the compressor and air con works by being powered direct from a out of car battery.. Maybe the pressure switch is causing a electrical fault...

Get down to PCS at horndean.

As above, the pressure switch, there not cheap at around £70.
The ecu will not reset with discounting the battery.

The electrical connection to the pressure switch had been taken off/ or had come off...
