Air Conditioning Tranfer

Is it possible to tranfer a newly reconditioned 230E 1981 engine, which has a working air conditioning system attached, to a 230E 1981 that doesn't have air conditioning system... What kind of difficulties are invovled with the tranfer of the airconditioning system....

You should probably have the gases evacuated before taking it apart, and then re-gased when it's done. That's all I know

Are you trying to install air con in to a car that does not have air con or are you going to use just the engine minus the air con system.

if you want to use the aircon there's going to be an awful lot of "plumbing" and wiring to do which will involve removing most of the interior of the car
