Good afternoon,
I have a W219 cls55 and have replaced the suspension pump with an aftermarket item,(my old pump is being refurbished), the visit workshop sign comes on after a few miles of driving, apparently it's the time taken to fill the air tank is too long ,I've gone over the whole car and there are no air leaks and the suspension is operating correctly, today I looked at the air tank found no leaks however there is a small battery on the reverse of the air tank bracket, one of the wires/connectors was hanging off,I refitted it and test drove the car now the light has gone out, could anyone tell me if this battery is anything to do with the suspension?
