All of the threads on here about airmatic and ABC problems got me thinking - is there any special maintenance required to help prolong the life of the airmatic system? And if so, will that maintenance be included in normal 'B' services? I'm thinking of jobs like checking hoses for wear, replacing fluids (are there any? probably not on airmatic) and changing the compressor intake filter. I'd hate to think I was missing out on some simple maintenance that could reduce the risk of expensive future failures. Thanks in advance for any advice from those in the know!

I bought my GL from new. Never had an issue with airmatic, no special maintenance required.

No maintenance as such but in my experience the airmatic pumps don't last long, every four years!

Must sure the Dust covers are intact of the portion of the shock, Dirt/grit can get in otherwise and perish the bellow's.
