Hi guys not sure if I've put this in the wrong forum sorry if I have , I have a 2006 cls with airmatic suspension , have been playing with the car and wondering if any one has changed the airmatic managment system on theirs to control the ride hieght as much as you want, I know some people hate low mercedes but I want to lower mine a bit. I have seen the lowering links or the expensive Kleeman kit but was wondering has anyone done it an easier way, such as get a suspension controller off eBay and just plugged it in ? Look forward to hearing from you guys !

The most popular way to do this, is to buy and fit a Renntech lowering (ELM V2 or V3 IIRC) module.Around £500.

Can be lowered also via STAR to lower tolerance setting, takes about 20/30mins with a good indy, important to check ride height is level...I have done this on my E55, looks good:thumb:

or leave it on Sport II which is 15mm lower than Comfort

Or do all of the above :)

links are the cheapest way of lowering and still have full 3 mode and raise functions.

Renntech module gives the 3 modes , raise mode and can be adjusted and gives more flexibility, can also be turned off!

tbh, links will probably give you what you need as once you have set your ride height very rarely do you change it.
