Has anyone used these pads? I’m thinking of running them on my C32. What are the advantages and disadvantages please?

Thanks

American supply only ?

Alternatives are EBC Redstuff , ATE Ceramic , Ferodo Eco Friction , etc .

Does anyone know who manufacturers for Mercedes branded?

It varies Kev, I’ve seen both ATE & TRW stamped on pads I’ve bought from MB.

They are available to order online.

Thanks I wondered as my independent fitter recommended I buy from Mercedes rather than after market to ensure correct performance and to avoid noise etc, aftermarket from the likes of EBC would have been around £60 cheaper..

EBC Redstuff are ECE R90 so don't squeal etc , I've full sets on 3 cars !

For C Class 2014 onwards OEM is Ferodo Eco Friction .

I have had Akebono carbon ceramic pads (front and rear) on my C55 for over 10K now almost 100% dust free running on new OEM Brembo discs . I posted a lot on here (including photos) when I first got them while I was in the USA. Have a search , see if you can dig up my old posts.

I've had TRW and Ferodo branded pads on new MBs before, Ferodo were a while ago though and no idea if the same spec as over-the-counter Ferodo.

Are they just low dust or low dust performance pads ?

When people say no dust instead of low dust take it with a pinch of salt .

Here's 4 days of OE Vs 5 weeks with some ceramic content ( both low mileage ) inc those lovely 4 storms we had .

4 days

Take a look at my posts (photos) regarding Akebono pads, the brake dust is almost none existent. It is light grey though so will show up more on black wheels. And it just washes off.
