alarm going off..

Hi, for the past few days the alarm on my w140 s320 keeps on going off ramdomly for no reason, i have to switch it off again and again. i have ordered new batteries for the fob just incase its these.

Failing that just wanted to ask is there anyway to disconnect it? Also where is the siren located on these?

Passenger side wheel arch, under the lining. you will need a anti-theft Torx socket to remove it.

The internal battery on the alarm is dying sounds like.

Nope, any hardware store, its basically a Torx (cant remember size) with a hole in the middle.

Ok thanks. Is the internal battery replaceable? I take it a dealership will supply one if that is the case?
