Alarm horn clk w208 coupe year 2000

Hi need some help .have been looking for my alarm siren have looked everywhere. Drivers wheel arch nothing. Checked fuse ok .or maybe it users the car horn have checked them both work . Also changed the little black box in the boot no difference so put old one back .any help would be great. Thanks

I presume they all had alarms but don’t know for sure.

If you look on youtube you will find videos showing both LHD and RHD cars showing the siren on the offside AND nearside, but in my experience on 2 , 2006 C class (W203) cars the siren was under the nearside (passenger side in a RHD car) wheel arch liner.

Top Tip . If it's giving you trouble just un plug it and forget about it .
