I Have a issue my alarm . it seems to have developed a fault. i lock the car and after 20 secs or so the alarm sounds.
I have checked the boot and door shut switches, i have also turned off the alarm at the trumpet under bonnet but it still goes off no noise just lights flash. i have also played around with the sensor in the windscreen for sensitivity but nothing.
I did notice the other day that i loooked it and and alarm didnt activate just locked the doors.
Is there a way i can turn the system off so all i get is doors locked. the car is a weekend toy and always garaged so no alarm is no problem.

I also wish there was a way to turn off the alarm on the R230, i have problems every couple of months or so.

mine goes over sensitive during summer, , on the right hand sensor, there is a rubber gromet, take it off and you can adjust the sensitivity, its probably something to do with the warmer weather, or there might be something crawling\flying in your car.
