I stumbled across this by accident. I used to have a Burnt Orange one and loved it. Sadly a rust bucket but wellll....

I sold it for £300. I should have kept it as an investment!

I had a black one. My first car. E158MPR. It was brilliant. A 16v golf was way faster but on a twisty a or b road I could easily keep up. The most amazing ability to do 4 wheel drifts at any speed, never had such a benign handling car since.

I had it 2 years from brand new. 2 gearbox rebuilds, 1 new gearbox, 3 engine rebuilds. In 25,000 miles.

Best car I ever had. Also the worst.

I had a Red cloverleaf model.....great car, but I preferred my Sud 1.5Ti(same colour as the carpets in the sprint!)....sublime handling and an engine note that got the juices flowing

Truth be told I was but the e30 bmw I replaced it with didn't break once....!
