Hi,

I've recently noticed that my e430 under acceleration seems to drag towards the right, then towards the left after the burst. Car drivers straight at a constant speed only experience this phenomenon during acceleration bursts.

Few thoughts come to our mind, Rear wheels out of alignment, worn or play in bushes. Any thoughts?

I'm going to inspect the rear hopefully during the weekend if it stops raining...

Cheers

Nas

to add to your list above: broken rear spring?

Nope its actually been doing this for about 2 weeks, car only came back from Merc for spring mount repairs including full under body inspection. Rear spring and mounts good at the time but you never know maybe broken...

From my side of the fence two things can cause this....
1: Incorrect rear Toe angle winding up one side of the tyre sidewall
2: The drive train tilting offline under load.

Asked my dad to take a look, jacked the passenger side and there's play in the wheel. So we'll check this out tomorrow. Will update.

Update

It's the rear N/S Drop link arm

We'll grab this part on Monday and see where we stand...
