All I Can Say is; Yippee!

Well, after 12 weeks I'm back !

I've sold the Volvo and, whilst it won't replace the SL in my affections, I'm very happy to report I am the very pleased owner of GLc 250D AMG Line.

She is 7 years old, but, apart from from the usual and expected gravel scuff on the bonnet and 2 wheels needing kerb mark taken out, she is a very tidy ship!

I never thought that I would become a Mercedes snob (in a nice way), but I am.

The Volvo, comfortable and safe though it was, was a bit agricultural.
Very hard, mechanical auto gear shift
Always aware of noise and vibration from the powerful 2.4 engine.

Now . . . .it's Mercedes Mute all the way.
Smooth, quiet, imperceptible auto box.

Yes, I took a financial hit, but, it's my own fault, I should have stayed with Mercedes.

Looking forward to Mercedes on the Green next year

Bit more practical than the SL ! Nothing wrong with one of those at all .... When i find the SL a bit too low ( Decades from now hopefully ) i have already ear marked a nice ML or GL ( Or if lucky enough financially a 'G' ) for my next MB adventure
