I have 2 sets of carpet mats, 1 is for Summer use and one is for winter use (yes im so sad) My winter ones are kind of destroyed and I was thinking of getting the rubber OEM ones, my question is do they STINK? I know the smell goes away after a while (or u get used to it) but what about when you have the heaters on? I saw these on the MB usa site: 60 USD (i think there 60 quid here) I may get some when im over there!
I have the rubber MB mats fitted to the ML, kids muddy boots etc. I have never noticed any smells & find them very good.

I too am so sad that i have winter and summer mats. I am excused tho as i have mushroom carpet mats that get dirty easilly. I got them last year from the dealer and they cost about £35. The pack has 5 mats. One for each footwell and a throughtful one for the transmission tunnel in the rear. The mats do stink for a while. I got the smell away with some Karchering and scrubbing. <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

I had MB OEM rubber mats in my previous 190E and they didn't smell at all. In fact I still have them in my garage, shame they are totally oversized for my current W202. S.
