Hi guys,
When I bought my CLK 240 the previous owner had 225/50/R16 on both axles, but I believe the wheels are still the staggered ones that were 205/55/R16 on 7J in the front and 225/50/R16 on the 8J in the back.
They are all cheap tyres and since I often drive to Germany I would like to put all season tyres on. The problem is that both the Michelin CrossClimate and the Continental AllSeasonContact don't come in the 225/50/R16. They make them in the 205/55/R16 so that's not a problem, but what could I do on the rear axle? Would 215/55/R16 fit the 8J rims?
Thanks for your help!
