However, judging from the performance difference between CrossClimate 2 and summer tyres as measured in tyre tests, I seriously doubt that the CrossClimate 3 tyres can match Michelin's performance summer tyres.

BTW, having read the tyre test reports, I did buy 4 CrossClimate 2 tyres for the Suzuki, because I think that on balance they were the right choice for me. But I am aware that they will not perform in summer as well as a summer tyre.

I'd fit the cross climates without any hesitation and take the improved winter and wet driving scenarios over pure summer performance tyres. The michelins tend to also give great tread mileage , so looks a great choice you made !

Have 4 CrossClimate 2 on our RAV4 , love them , brilliant in the rain in summer and no noticeable loss of grip when temperatures down to freezing last winter , win win for me

The Michelin CrossClimate 3 certainly looks like an improved tyre. Not available in all sizes yes, though - just checked and they are not yet available for my car.

The noticable change will be that the speedometer will not be accurate because the overall diameter of the wheel and fire will change. You might see ~3mph difference at motorway speeds.

Being pedantic, I agree that the speedometer will likely show a small difference, however, I wouldn't use the word 'accurate' because there's no telling if the speedometer is currently accurate to begin with.

I can honestly say the cross climate are a good tyre have had them on a few of my car great in the winter for snow as there is a large hill where i stay and gets up there no problem i have tried other maks of tyres previously which have not even got half way up the hill
