If I'm not mistaken I think when you have your phone hooked up via Bluetooth them "0000" are your reception bars.. Good reception they will all be filled or least 3 of them and bad reception will be how it is now or only 1 filled in

Your COMAND unit has built-in Bluetooth, all you need do is pair the phone to the car.

That's OK then, your C216 has COMAND NTG3 which does not have built-in Bluetooth. The screen on the NTG3 is a precursor to the later NTG2.5 and NTG4.5 which do have built-in Bluetooth, hence my mistake.
