I am thinking of improving the appearance of my Alloy wheels.
They are AMG V1. ( 18" ) Titanium Grey on my 2010 CLS 350 CDI.
They are 'scuffed' in the centres near the MB Logo.
I would appreciate any advice,recommendations...
..e.g.: What to do and what not to do.Especially what paint/ lacquer anybody would recommend.
Thank you in advance.

Hard to pass comment without photos and more discussion with you as to what 'scuffed up' means to you and how close to perfect you want but...

I would describe the wheels on my car as OK'ish for now but I know they will only go one way and eventually they will need doing. So my W211 is (all things equal) with me for at least another 4 years and I want to experience the pleasure of driving as nice a car as possible, with as few issues as possible for as long as possible. So sometime over the next 6 months I'm having all 4 wheels refurbished. Tyre off, whole wheel stripped, minor scuffs sorted and powder coated at around £70 a wheel, poss a little less if I do all at the same time. Might go for a titanium grey finish rather then the stock silver.

There are folks who will do a job on the front face of the wheel only for around £30 a wheel.

Thanks David404.
Can you let me know who you are referring to when you say there are companies who charge between £30 and £70 per wheel to renovate Alloy wheels. I'm in Stoke on Trent.
I'm not looking for absolute perfection just don't like to see " Scruffy " wheels when the rest of the car shines up nicely after its weekly wash.
Thanks.

You would be crazy to spend £70 a wheel especially when you have a speedy wheels franchise located in w midlands who charged me £35 all in per wheel for full matte black refurb.. ironically they send the wheels off to a major refurb place in Birmingham hence they provided me with suitable loan wheels with a decent turnaround..

The major refurb place in Birmingham, is probably Lap-tab which is underneath Spaghetti Junction, maybe called Wheel Specialist or similar.

Correct and I did use them to refurb one wheel on a previous car a few years ago and yes they did a good job. No discernible colour difference to other wheels and the finish held up without bubbling/rusting for the 2-3 years (30k - 45k miles I put on the car after.

Not used anybody else for repaint reforb but another place just around the corner (name escapes me) fixed a dented wheel on my W211 for £40.

Thanks for your comments and helpful advice.
I'm most appreciative.
