Hi,

I have quick question. If a brand new set of front OEM MB alloys was manufacturered at an earlier date by a good few months and the rear set manufactured recently (say 10 months difference between the production dates of the front and rears) then in your opinion would there be a huge noticbale differdnce in the paint/colour? Would the fronta nd erars still blend together?

I am having a new set fitted tomorrow and the supplier has advised that all four alloys are new but the front ones have been in stock considerably longer than the rears (which were only shipped in this morning direct from Germany).

Regards,

Will probably look the same. If they don't and they're the same width, put two matching ones on either side! :)

The same trick applies to cars with non-matching wheel trims ;)

If there is a color missmatch why not fit the two matching colors to the same side, only you would know :)

Great minds Ian! :)

ooh - Ian and Shude - you been sleeping in the same knife box :D

The rear alloys are slighty bigger than the front ones (wider track) therefore we cannot do the sugegstions above...

Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and see.

Thanks anyway.

They will look the same. After about 1 minute of driving they will all be coated with brake dust anyway!

Cheers - Think I'm just being abit too paranoid. (I only found out about the differecne in production dates when I enquired this morning...).
