Alpha insurance was anyone effected on here?

Well I am not sure how big this failed insurance company was,but if it wrote thousands of car policies,it could be like Fire Auto Marine when they went broke,you have to have grey hair to remember that one,but the effect was that because a vast number of car owners back then had to find insurance the rates went up and whats more that effect lasted for some years,if I remember if you wanted to get car insurance around March time the rates went up,lets face it the op has got a quote for £500 more than he was paying,the sharks are circling.

went with a different broker in the end. To be honest I could even get in touch with the original broker even if I’d wanted to stay with them.

Why not just go on comparethemarket ?
