Am I allowed back?

Well...

After selling my W202 C280 back in February.. I stopped looking at the site..

Since then I owned a Land Rover Defender for a bit.. for offroading, but quickly got fed up with sub 20mpg, and lack of everything!.. then I got a bangernomics 106 1.5D for its 60+ mpg but got fed up becuase it truely was an awful car!!!

Currently cruising around in a BMW 325i Auto Touring.. its not too bad but I miss my Mercedes..

Looking at getting an E-class CDi, pref 320.. with all of the goodies soon enough!

The question is, can I come back! :bannana:

Want an E-Class this time.. there are crazy people on Pistonheads quoting E55 AMG mpg at 29mpg! Are they nuts!

Going to be DERV I'm sure.. future proofing my self if I buy one to last next 3/4 years.

You are not alone in "leaving" the forum for a while and getting a different car.

I am sure that it makes little difference if you drive an MB or not while being on here. After all, most of us are car crazy and have experience with MB.

There was a recent post on here with a W210e55 returning 31mpg on a long slowish run.

As i average 22 i would guess e55 at 20mpg overall.

Actaully it wont matter what you buy as after driving a n/a 1.5 diesel you will be deaf anyway

e55's are tempting.. w210 pre-facelift are around £4000

I know there cheap for a reason.. but when I get the idea in my head I cant help it! haha..

I'd like really a W211 CDi - 18 or 19" wheels and I'm happy!
