On the info it is showing that it is a private sale, one owner and has 8300 on the clock for £36500, but when I started to google found the same car, same registration, less mileage for sale at FoxMeister Classic and Sports cars for sale at £43995

Am I missing something here due to naievity or something ????:wallbash:

It's possible that the private seller has let the trader 'advertise' it as his own stock with his profit on top; a lot of people wouldn't dream of spending circa £40k in a private sale, they'd rather pay more through a bona fide car dealer.

I suspect it was sold and the private buyer is now selling again hence the increased mileage and reduced price.

The trader probably hasn't updated his stock list - keep customers enquiring and he may go hunt for more c63s.

That makes sense, looks like the owner has only done a couple of thousand miles and is now taking a big loss.
The only thing that confused the issue for me was that the seller stated that it was one owner, hence why it then would have been bought direct from MB.

Maybe it was never sold by trader, just advertised without result. Now owner advertises it himself, a few months and miles later.
