Scenarios like this will become more of a by-product of the cuts in the justice system, once the 'cuts' really start to kick in.
 
I still find it utterly unbelieveable that someone who has clearly done something wrong, whatever that may be and therefore by definition cannot be trusted, is then asked to report to say Social Workers in this case and oh what a surprise, doesn't.

Let me get this straight, they are trusting someone who is not trustworthy to do something?

The issue here could not be any more obvious could it?

Surely the classic example of this is the program "Passport Patrol". The immigration authorities go to Chinese, Indian restaurants et al. rounding up illegal immigrants who are then released on bail. Guess what happens then LOL. :rolleyes:
 
Lol... or Traffic Cops, where they find an illegal immigrant and them ask them very very nicely to turn up at 'Immigration' by their own steam.

How shocking; they never get there.
