Decimalpointitis can strike without warning. You can often catch it in Tescos I've heard
 
see in the above instance, do they not have to award it at that price under false advertising or something, if you print it off and keep a hard copy?

or do they have some sneeky way of wrigling out as i suspect.
 
Sigh. Contract law sadly says advertised price is an "invitation to treat" not an offer for sale. If you walk in and say yep I will have it and they don't change the price on any paperwork etc....then you win! Somewhat unlikely

Tescos etc run into trouble because they advertise a price, and buy picking it up and taking it to the till, you are offering to buy it. By scanning it, they accept your offer. If the price is then higher, it's too late!
 
Ah right thought they had some sneaky way to save themselves of that kind of situation
