I would venture a guess that that is essentially four JAP v twin engines jouned together.
I bet it sounds good in a tunnel.
It's not a Japanese engine ...
I didn't think for a second it was.
Hence the capitals.
You should read the article that accompanies the pics - it tells you that JAP built V8 engines back in 1908 and that this is one of them.
Impossible not to like that. It's so purposeful. The patina is fabulous along with the visible different metals and the leather. Thanks for sharing.
