I particularly noted this bit.

When travelling in autonomous mode, the driver can recline his seat and turn it by 45 degrees to adopt a more comfortable working position while using the removable tablet.

and thought...Typical...Mercedes-Benz are 15 years behind again.

Just about every lorry driver has been using their phones for texting / emailing / watching videos, for the last five years or so, anyway.

Oh excellent! That means the driver could take their obligatory driving hours breaks whilst the truck drive itself

Will it be programmed to pull out in front if you then indicate and overtake another truck whilst being 0.5mph quicker

...and hog the middle lane near slip roads so they don't have to slow down but end up slowing down the rest of the carriageway
