Ambient lighting help

I’ve recently purchased a 2015 w205 premium amg line. It has ambient lighting and I’ve purchased new black ash inner door trims to replace the brushed aluminium look ones on my car but when changing the rear door ones I noticed that only one of my original aluminium trims had ambient lighting fitted to it the o/s one
The passenger one did not even have ambient lighting fitted to it at all ? But all the black ash trims do ? And obviously no connector/plug on o/s door to connect new trim up so ambient lights work any ideas?

Ive seen some kits online and instructions on youtube and they use the blue connections on your photo but I would check online first before connecting anything

If i am reading your issue correctly? You are fitting new wood finish parts that DO have the light strip on the bottom of it? But no wiring going to the light strip? If this is the case - then i would say the following:
The LED lights are fitted at either end of this light tube - not in the light tube. The LEDs are actually on the wire harness in the small plastic pieces that the wire harness terminates to. When they light up the LED light is carried / projected along the light strip to produce the ambient light. So if you cannot see any wiring to it you are likely missing the wire harness WITH the LEDs on the end. From looking at the videos on YT for fitting ambient lighting - you must be just missing this wire harness.

Does the Ambient light work in the other three doors?
